Help! I can’t see my bookings!

Do you have an account? If you don’t have an account (linking all bookings to a single email address) then you will see only the booking you have just made. Here’s how to set up an account:

  1. go to your email inbox, open the Acuity Scheduling ‘new appointment’ email and click on ‘change/cancel this appointment’

  2. on the next screen, click on ‘register for an account’

  3. enter your email address and choose a password

Help! I still can’t see my bookings!

Did you verify your email as instructed in the email you received when you registered for an account? You’ll find the link towards to end of the email; it may be out of sight on a small screen

Help!! Still no *** bookings!!

Life’s too short; email Hannah and she’ll sort it out - but, first; if you’re making a booking for a group, are you sure that all bookings have been made using the same name and email address? These identifiers must be consistent! This may mean appointing one person to make all bookings - or sharing a generic name, email address and password.

I want to book the hall 9pm to 1am. How do I do this?

Please email Kate, the Hall Manager, to discuss. There are several factors to consider including the conditions of the hall’s Premises’ License (which controls the hours of dancing, music playing and the sale of alcohol) and minimising disturbance to our neighbours.

I’ve forgotten how long I booked the hall for - and this information doesn’t appear anywhere!

Okay, you’ve got us there. It’s true; nowhere on the booker’s (client’s) view of Acuity Scheduling does it show a finishing time - but panic not; System Administrators, can see this crucial detail. Just email Kate or Hannah and we’ll let you into the secret.

I want to start - and finish - my event an hour earlier

Okay, this is easy!

  1. go to the booking page and log-in (very small link in the top right hand corner)

  2. click on the booking you want to change, scroll down and click ‘reschedule’

  3. choose the date you want (the same date in this example) and the new starting time, and click ‘reschedule’ at the bottom to confirm

  4. check the details on the next screen - and Bobs your Parish Clerk!

I want to extend my booking by an hour, finishing at 6pm instead of 5pm

This is not quite so straightforward. Three options:

  • make a new booking for 5-6pm

  • cancel the old booking and make a brand new booking for the longer period

  • email Hannah and she’s do it for you

I want to change all my yoga class bookings from 4-5pm to 3-5pm

This is Advanced Scheduling! The easiest way is to cancel all the classes (as in the rescheduling example above) and swiftly make a new recurring booking, hoping that a rival yoga teacher doesn’t swoop in and take your slot in the 5 mins it’ll take you to do this. Or you could email Hannah.

There’s a rival yoga teacher after my slot. I’d like to book through until 2033, please

Gosh, is the yoga business really that cut-throat? The system doesn’t allow you to book more than a year in advance; i.e. to November 2024 (52 weeks after the system was set up). We therefore suggest that, come Autumn 2024 you review your life and, if you wish, make another year’s worth of bookings. If waiting this long causes a real problem, let us know and we’ll sort something out.
